We want to make sure you have a great time when you come for your customization workshop. Please take a moment and go through this list. We’ll go through everything when you get here, but just in case you want to prep, here are a few good things to know.

  • Remove Laces from Shoes

    Before you start customizing your shoes, the first thing you’ll need to do is take the shoe laces out of your shoes. If you do it in advance, it will save time.

  • Know your Inspirations

    Although we can help you on finding a direction for your customization, it is very helpful if you have a clear idea of what you like, what you think is cool. Say a few pics to your phone and we’ll help you with the rest.

  • Surprising someone?!

  • How long is the in-person class?

    That depends on which workshop or experience you sign up for. See our Class page for more details.

  • Is there an age requirement to take the class?

    No, our classes are open to all ages and skill levels.

  • Do you provide the shoes for the workshop, or do I bring my own?

    The first option is to bring your own. If you want us to supply the shoes, you’ll need to contact us in advance to make that happen.

  • Do I need to know how to customize before taking the workshop?

    No experience? No problem! Our team will be on-site to guide you through different customization techniques and answer any questions along the way. 

  • Do I need to bring my own shoe? Does it matter what kind?

    YES, in general. Please bring your own shoes. We suggest all-white sneakers like an Air Force 1 or Slip-On Vans so you can start with a fresh white palette, otherwise any shoe can be customized!

    There are also options to purchase a sneaker on-site, but please be advised that there may be select sizes and styles available, and kindly request this in advance. There are options for the sneaker to be included when purchasing your ticket. This will help us ensure we have the style and size you need for your workshop.

  • How should I clean my customs?

    DO NOT suggest the use of a washing machine.

  • Is the paint durable?

    Yes! The paint is crack, water resistant and 100% wearable, however damage can be caused through misuse.
